Home Internet access
1. Home network with time-limited dial-up Internet access provided by a dial-on-demand router with IP-level
packet filtering (e.g. Cisco IOS).
2. IP addresses are served by DHCP on Linux server, using local hosts and dhcp configuration files.
3. Network is used by adults for work, and requires to be accessible at all times
4. Network is also used by children (different computers) for downloads and chat: if allowed unlimited
access then they would easily exceed the maximum allowed
Internet connect times. Therefore, their computers are to be provided time-limited access to the
Internet.
5. Need to model: users, their computers, their access rights, address dissemination mechanism,
router filter mechanisms.
6. Define rules to populate address dissemination and filter configuration descriptions in RDF.
7. Convert address and filter definition data to native file formats.
