It's great fun getting together and talking about grand projects, but in my experience the most useful advances have come from clear-sighted simplifying assumptions that turn unmanageable visions into tractable concepts.

Emil Lupu's comment:  big problem is refining trust abstraction to something processable/usable.  ALso resolving conflicts, inconsistencies, etc.  COmmon underlying mechanisms dealing with orthogonal issues of trust/security/...
